Drawn by J.M.W. Turner, etched and engraved by Frank Short. From the 'Liber Studiorum'. Printed on wove paper. Signed in pencil by Short.
Four engraver's proofs of Turner's engraving are known but it was never published. According to Hardie the copper plate was included in the Turner Sale, 1873, however Finberg describes it as 'Mysteriously disappeared.
